25 min
pairs / groups of 3 (each class must have 9 presentations, minimum. Any less than this and I will reassign the groupings and pairings.)

Missed the bus so what to do,

we all know what happened at rehearsal on saturday and how lewd and uncivilized audrey was.
I am NOT calling for a flaming arms race here but let us be constructive and think of a way to let audrey get a taste of how it's like to be on the receiving end of her wrath.

perhaps the next time (if we ever) see her, we should all give her the cold treatment and not talk to her at all. whatever we do, i know that what she said cannot be erased from our minds. (i tried to) but let it not affect our performance at the play. for the angry scenes, learn from what happened and if need be, think of her to build up the rage needed for ur character =)

Just remember, keep it clean, constructive and do not let it affect the play.

Okay, so having been reading all the sudden influx of posts these few days (very good, you guys should do that from now on!) silently, maybe I should post something. Or maybe not, since I hope this hoo-haa has finally come to a resolve. It's up to us whether we want it to be resolved anot.

But then again, some concluding points (I hope):

- 1A04 will and shall be united. It has always been.

- From some posts that I totally agree: There are those in class that are more 'visible' than others trying to bring the class together. But that doesn't mean others are not. Just that they are more 'discreet', bringing the class together in one way or another, no matter how influential it is, good or bad.

- Regarding how some people are starting to mind their own businesses: Perhaps it's a false observation. But if there really is, well, hopefully it's because exams are coming, and people are starting to work hard and be less distracted. Everyone wants to get promoted. Alamak, me too!!!! :x GEOG!!!

Actually, as compared to other classes, 1A04 is still outstanding! All the enthusiasm and class spirit. If you tell others that we are having some 'conflicts' going on, I doubt people will believe. Just look at us! Always so crazy as a group! Hoho.

2nd for Team Excellence doesn't come easy. And remember, when A4 is second, no one is first. :)

I'm feeling quite crazy now, I shall come up with an A4 dictionary. Words that only A4 will understand. Haha.

hey u guys! hey, this blog is a cool thing.. has it's fair share of crap too.. haha! i'm sitting at home trying to get my grandma to sew my costume together rite now, thought i'd poke my head in for a sec.. opening nite is only 5 days away! omg.. this is so exciting.. and the cast looks gd to go.. dun u think?! either way, our class has come such a long way! i still remember the first day i met all u guys.. all the wierd first impressions we had to deal with. haha! and this production has been a hell of a time.. i'll be sad when all this is finally over. and i hope i can say this on behalf of the whole class.. GAPI! we're so proud of u man! at least i am.. ur first speech in the senate scene just blew me away tt day.. and the student scenes! haha! u guys are the cutest lah.. oh ya! all hail Rit-wig-a.. our 'notable strumpet'.. the courtesan from bollywood.. *sigh!* i hope we rock their socks gd man!

oh, i almost forgot.. all this strange stories abt our class not being united and not getting promoted together, i beg to differ.. we've all got our differences and we all have our problems. and God noes we've all got one common prob, spelt with a capital PH! but tt's just wat makes our class so cool! no other class has these wierd problems.. our class just won't be a class without all these issues to bring us together! so in a way, we all have to say thanks to karthik for the big 'hoo-ha' he created.. 1a04 just won't be 1a04 without all its cute little pple! haha!

colour scheme (and design) can change (but just slightly), what do you guys think of it? since it should be a common t-shirt, i doubt i can print the full length nicks you guys have given me. it should cost around 15 rupiah, and it may take some time to get it printed. and hopefully, we'll hand it out on the day of the first paper for the P.E.

ANYWAY, came up with a class tee, see whether we can all agree on something. how about personalized nicks on the tee?

Everyday when you return from your school, whether or not it is from a secondary school, a junior collage, a polytechnic, or ITE, you would probably think that school sucks.

All that work and torture under your lecturer's or teacher's homework or assignments, or tutorials...

But think about this, i mean really think. All the time spent with your classmates, all the laughter, sorrows, and happiness of knowing that your friends are there in your class.

Now imagine them gone, perhaps part of them or even all of them. You may not realise it, but when advancing into the next level of education, it is inevitable that some friends will be parting with you.

What is all this you ask yourself, what I ask is of you to think, what do those people who were once or were still your classmates and friends meant to you.

Anyone who has at least finished their o levels and has graduated from respective schools would know the feeling of parting with your classmates and friends.

Not knowing when you still see them again.

Perhaps the next day, the next week, month, years, or even decade. Perhaps one day, you would realised how bitter sweet those memories were, the fun you had with your classmates and friends.

That is why ever so often when you asked someone which is the most fond memories they had in their years in education, they would often have that sadness in their eyes, but yet, they smile briefly.

It's the memories of their school friends. Those unforgettable years of laughter and happiness in school.

Each classmate had suffered under the same stresses in school. The teachers, whether they are kind or extremely strict.

So treasure your schooling days, don't complain, because you never know when you will miss them dearly. And perhaps, shed a tear for those treasured times in your youth.

Remember to bring the Youth Day Donation Envelope tomorrow.
Those who have yet to pay up for everything (notes, tys, house t-shirts, etc), please do so asap to Lavanya or the respective subject reps. (especially Econs-Khai is going mad!)
I know the school has been asking for money every now and then but it's already been months for some of the payments!
Some of us have already paid up for everything so why can't those who haven't pay up do so?
(We are no rich kids okay, I used my humble allowances and savings to pay also.)
If you have genuine financial difficulties, do approach PH or the teachers.
If not, do pay up.
For example, the payment for Econs TYS ($10.80) has been going around for so damn long (since April) but still, some people are saying that they don't have money to pay for that.
You don't get your materials free, it's not fair to others.
And to those souls who are still owing ME money for all the birthday celebrations, do pay up soon.
It's a class thing alright.
Some of you complained that you didn't get to eat the cakes and pizzas, but I have always made it a point to send out sms-es to each and every one to inform you.
So no excuses.
Money is the root of all evils.
( I hope I don't sound offending, just a g-e-n-t-l-e reminder.)

As part of English Enrichment, we are going to watch an adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth staged by The Young Co. of the Singapore Repertory Theatre. Performers are between 17 and 25 y/o.
